LLRSFUK
I have mad 4 batches of L Reuters Culture, and it has turned out perfect every time, No separating. The yogurt is thick and creamy, I am hoping to try some other cultures to compare in taste.
I bought my Luvele 2 litre machine over 3 months ago. It’s brilliant and has completely changed my gut for the good. I’ve recommended it to friends and they love it too. I use L-Reuteri probiotic from Luvele and notice the difference in sleep, skin and gut health!
I have used LReutrie culture starter it is great for making dr William Davis recipe
I've tried various different types of milks/cream etc and found the best result for me in the UK was to heat 600ml of whole milk and 600ml of single cream to your recommended temperature (as per your video and held the heat for 15-20 minutes with regular stirring and then let it cool to the recommended temperature before mixing it with a prebiotic powder and your L. Reuteri culture. I had no separation and it produced a thick, creamy and decadent result with a really good taste and consistency. I have used the UHT milk too on it's own which was ok but personally my husband and I prefer the result from the half milk half cream option. The Luvele yoghurt maker is almost constantly in use with a couple of days between, as we simply don't want to be without the yoghurt, even for a day! If I'm honest, the L Reuteri starter seemed an expensive purchase at the time but I have made many subsequent batches using a couple of tablespoons of my previous batch and get equally good results, if not better than the original culture! Therefore, in hindsight, it's much better value than I first thought. Really glad we took the plunge with a purchase. It's quick and it's easy and we are beginning to feel the health benefits too. May go on to try the L. Gasseri culture next.
Quick delivery within 2 days of ordering. I made the l reuteri yoghurt with UHT whole milk in the Luvelle yoghurt maker and it worked perfectly. A very tiny amount of separation but I just whisked that back in. It has quite a mild creamy taste.
I did not have success with this starter. I followed my usual method - I stirred two tablespoons of inulin powder per one litre of single cream and added to this one sachet as instructed. Set my Luvele yoghurt maker to 38C for the usual 36 hours as instructed. The result was inedible, to put it lightly - highly separated and smelt like cheese. Not in a good way. I will try again and hope for better results.
